Fulmar Prion (1/3)

PROCELLARIIFORMES: Procellariidae

Pachyptila crassirostris  

These prions were flying around the ship which was anchored offshore from the base at Macquarie Island. I felt they were a little larger than the Antarctic Prions flying about, and their bill was longer and not as down-turned so I took some photos. It turned out to be a Fulmar Prion.
